Design Adaptation for FMCG Packaging

A new variant that looks as if it had always been part of the range.

Design adaptation transfers an existing packaging design to new variants, language versions and range extensions, based on your series or your brand book. At LINKED, the service can cover everything from the product photo shoot to the print-ready file.

What sets design adaptation
apart from new design

Three variants are on the shelf, and the fourth needs to fit in seamlessly. Design adaptation, also known as adaptive packaging design, doesn't start from scratch. It consistently develops an existing design route for new products, new variants, new markets or a relaunch.

One team for brand, imagery and data –
the advantage of a single source

The team adapting your variants works on your brand continuously and knows what matters. Product photos are taken in our in-house photo studio. Because we know your brand, the shoot can be spot-on within a single day. External service providers don't need to be briefed first. All data is kept in one place: shoot, artwork, repro and packshots, always up to date.

Print considered
from the start

A beige tone can look perfect in a color swatch book and still appear dull on metallic film. Because we are responsible for artwork and repro ourselves, we check design decisions for printability as early as the adaptation stage. That way, the printed result delivers what the design promises.
